Left Trigger Right Trigger

Join us every other week as we convene the 'video game book club.' Each episode is structured around a topic: anything from 'Trust' to 'Robots' to 'Body Parts'. Listen in as your hosts each bring a game to the table that they think exemplifies that topic in some way. Give us a shot and remember, games are just metaphors.

Listeners, it's time to indulge your deepest fantasies - as long as those fantasies involve a broad ranging discussion of Fantasy in videogames. Colin manages to avoid turning this whole episode into a discussion about Skyrim. Greg is ousted as a Cribbage hustler. Dave explores his masochistic side. Giovanni pitches an app (game??) that will finally let the Switch replace mobile phones.

We've started a new streaming series over on twitch.tv/lefttriggerrighttrigger - join us every Thursday at 7:30 ET as we raise money for The Bail Project and play through Final Fantasy VII Remake Hard Mode! We're going to be raising money every week until we finish the game. Come join us!

If you want to catch up on past streams you can find them over on our YouTube page. We'd also really appreciate if you take a moment to give us a rate and review on Apple Podcasts. You can also give us a follow on Twitter (@LTRTCast) or on the Left Trigger Right Trigger Facebook Page

Games discussed include Dark Souls, World of Warcraft, That Dragon Cancer, and Secret World Legends (fka The Secret World)

Listeners: this is a weird time to be making podcasts. Every year around Father's Day we sit down and record what is consistently our goofiest, most absurd episode of the year. This particular episode is no different, but this year is definitely different.

Because of that, we hope you'll take a moment to give some time and money to some of the causes we've linked below. Thank you for taking the time to listen, read, reflect, and fight for a better world. Black lives matter.

Finally, we're doing a charity fundraising stream of Final Fantasy VII Remake every Thursday at 7:30 pm ET over on twitch.tv/lefttriggerrighttrigger. All money raised goes to support The Bail Project. We'll be doing this stream every week for most of the summer, so come on by.

Thank you,

- Dave, Colin, G, and Greg

Dungeons - turns out they're actually towers? Get ready for a semantically vigorous episode complete with multiple dog pools. Greg gets lost. Colin berates Greg for not knowing about the game Hover!  Dave is actually not the person who pulls out a dictionary. Giovanni challenges you all to prove him wrong.

Quarantine is on and we've been doing some streams over on twitch.tv/lefttriggerrighttrigger. In fact we just hit affiliate status (by accident. Oops!) so come by and check us out. We've also been posting highlight reels over on our YouTube page.

As always, if you like this show then we'd really appreciate if you take a moment to give us a rate and review on Apple Podcasts. You can also give us a follow on Twitter (@LTRTCast) or the Left Trigger Right Trigger Facebook Page, where you too can suggest topics for upcoming shows!

Games discussed include Dungeon Master, Neverwinter Nights, Gauntlet Legends, and Spelunky.
