Left Trigger Right Trigger

Join us every other week as we convene the 'video game book club.' Each episode is structured around a topic: anything from 'Trust' to 'Robots' to 'Body Parts'. Listen in as your hosts each bring a game to the table that they think exemplifies that topic in some way. Give us a shot and remember, games are just metaphors.

Question for you, listeners - do you think this show has run out of topics? Look, we're not saying that we think the show is out of topics but we're wondering if any of you are under the impression that uh... we're out of topics. No reason, just checking. Anyway, here's the episode on...Shapes.

In this episode - David set up his new burrow. Giovanni presses buttons. Tess has shape-based nostalgia. Greg explains sword logic.

Hey listeners... we know in the last episode we said we wanted a normal, regular episode. And maybe Beige wasn't quite standard for us. In fact, maybe it was an overcorrection - Beige was too normal of an episode. In response, here's a normal episode that's the normal amount of normal. That sentence makes sense, we promise. Welcome to the Racing episode!

In this episode - David discovers the secret of his namesake. Giovanni becomes a dog - it's all sinking in now. Tess gets distracted. Greg delivers the State of the Union

Hey everyone! We have a super important announcement - it's once again time for our annual 24-hour charity stream!! This year we'll be streaming to benefit MaineTransNet! MaineTransNet is a community based organization led by transgender people, for transgender people. They serve Maine's trans community in a ton of different ways, including support groups, transgender competency training, and advocacy work. We're so excited to support them with this year's stream!

You're going to want to tune to twitch.tv/lefttriggerrighttrigger on Saturday, February 19 at 10 AM ET and stick around until Sunday, February 20 at 10 AM ET. Oh and just like last year, we'll be donating our Patreon contributions for February. Come hang out, keep us awake, and check out all the shenanigans. We hope to see you there!!

Mod 0

Folks, it's taken a lot of work from a lot of community members, but the "Better Show" mod has been updated to function with the latest version of LTRT. This new, improved mod includes the following features:
  • Added 6 hosts with revamped romance options (including a fully fleshed-out Travis!)
  • 200+ new tangents about topics that aren't video games.
  • Reduced background noise and mouth sounds from all hosts.
  • Fixed several typos and incorrect uses of "whom."
  • Expanded post-show "End Bit" with tons of activities for long-time listeners.
  • Added English language translation for Giovanni.

In this Mod - Giovanni claims ownership over any and all products that are derived from LTRT content. David explores his fear of locomotives. Greg wonders about Ape Jeans. Tess asks some big questions about Paul Blart.
