Left Trigger Right Trigger

Join us every other week as we convene the 'video game book club.' Each episode is structured around a topic: anything from 'Trust' to 'Robots' to 'Body Parts'. Listen in as your hosts each bring a game to the table that they think exemplifies that topic in some way. Give us a shot and remember, games are just metaphors.

Toniiiiiight. We are Pets. So let's fill the bowl with kibble, or we can all nibble, on some boooones. "Pets" is the topic in this episode, which is appropriate since they needed to spray Colin with a water bottle in this one. Tune in as Greg recounts the trauma of the worst crime ever perpetuated against him. Giovanni frets over virtual birds. Colin explores his unprocessed feelings towards Tubs the cat. And Dave just tries to pet some digital dogs.

Note: Colin, in his "Vacation Dave" state, conflated Digimon Tamagotchi with all Tamagotchi. He regrets this mistake. Please no emails.

Please post pictures of your pets to our Facebook and Twitter. You can also find more critter related content on our YouTube channel. Lastly, in exchange for giving us a like and review on Apple Podcasts, one of our hosts will be your pet for the day! I guess that's why Colin has all those collars.

Games discussed include the Pokemon series, Nintendogs and Cats,  Neko Atsume, and Fallout 4
